3/4” Antique Flow Blue Cup – Scinde
This brilliant Flow Blue 3 7/8” diameter
cup was produced by John & George Alcock at Stoke-on-Trent Potteries,
Cobridge, Staffordshire, England. The pattern is "Scinde" and
dates approximately 1840-1845. The cup is in very good condition with the
exception of repair to the rim. In photo 5 the left side of the rim has been
smoothed and reglazed. It is triangular in shape, ½” wide x ¼” tall. The spot
in the photo below the repair is a reflection of the light. The figure with the
banner or flag is as complete and sharp as the figure in photo 2. There are very
few minor flaws from firing on this cup.
