Description

These are brand new tanks straight from the manufacturer.

Superior to Accutronics by virtue of thicker materials. They also have directly wired transducers as the plugs on Accutronics are are source of problems. Accutronics types commonly fail due to the coils going open circuit as they age so second hand ones are to be avoided for this reason.  Last but not least they sound great (if not better) helped by reduced acoustic coupling by virtue of HDPE spring mounts in the transducers.

MOX tanks are directly equivalent to MOD Reverb Tank 8EB2C1B, new. See table for type details. A popular replacement for the Fender Blues Junior and many other amps.

The 8EB2C1B is a medium decay reverb tank. Many vintage Fender amps used a long decay type reverb. If you think you would prefer that then go for an 8EB3C1B instead which we also offer on eBay.

These high quality MOX tanks are direct equivalents for MOD and Accutronics types and feature identical solid construction and materials. They employ directly wired transducers for reliability and lower interference and are engineered for a vintage tone. These use a heavier gauge of steel than current Accutronics making them sturdier and lower noise.

Remember to verify compatibility for your project prior to purchase.

*The supplied model connector grounding can be easily re-configured into any of the four possible schemes by use of solder links on the connector PCB e.g a 4AB3A1B can become a 4AB3B1B, 4AB3C1B or a 4AB3D1B. When the solder link is present that connector is connected to the chassis. If you unable to to this for yourself, please ask and we can customise it for you at no charge.

Many other models are available, please ask if you can't find what you want.
