You are looking at one of the most RARE versions of the Ty Beanie Baby named Curly the Bear. This beanie baby is in excellent condition. It was never played with and spent most of it's life in a storage bin in a non-smoking environment in our attic and its ready for a new home!
Truly RARE Errors Include:
1. Date of Birth : April 12, 1996
2. Brown Nose & Black Eyes instead of All Black
3. Hang Tag & Tush Tag Dates (reads1996 Hang Tag Birthday with 1993 Tush Tag Production Date)
4. Hang Tag the word “original” on the Swing Tag has misspelled word "ORIGIINAL" on the front with 2
5. Swing Tag has a ; instead of : on date of birth
6. "you" on the 2nd Line of the Poem Should Be Capitalized “You”
7. There are two spaces between the words "to" and "this" in the Poem on the Tag
8. Fareham, Hants is inside Swing Tag.
9. No UK after Po15 5TX ON Swing TAG!
10. No Red Stamp or # on the Inside of the Tush Tag (Indicating that this Version of Curly is Limited)
11. Tush Tag bottom line has 1965(KR), which means this was part of Korean market.
12. Tush Tag has both “R” & "TM"
13. Surface wash sticker, which is EXTREMELY RARE! Indicating this is by far, one of the RAREST FIRST BATCH ever made BEFORE the craze really hit!
It is said that, Ty Warner used older swing tags that did not have the "Surface Wash" printed on them to finish an order, and so he created stickers with the words "Surface Wash" and added them to the back of the swing tags. This is truly a piece of history and not found easily! Especially, on a ORIGINAL CURLY THE BEAR!
