Magneto Repair Kit

PLEASE NOTE:

The cover and rotor assembly in this kit replace the original Fairbanks Morse BX2430 cover and disc style rotor which made rotor to cover contact with spring loaded brushes ( 2 brushes ).  The cover and rotor included in this kit are Genuine Fairbanks Morse positive rotor to cover contact without brushes.  The newer style cover included in this kit does use a brush and spring to make contact in the center of the rotor ( brush is included )

when equipped with Fairbanks Morse magneto numbers:

FMX-2A6,        X2A6,        FMX2A6,      X2B6,       X2B6D,      FM-X2B6,       FM-X2B6D

X2B6D,      FM-X2B6E,       X2B6E,       X2B6F,      FM-X2B6F

with counter clockwise rotation ( ccw )

Please Note: 

The rotor included in this kit is new old stock Fairbanks Morse and does show signs of shelf age including patina and fading none of which effects use as new equipment.

Please Note:

The earlier tractor models noted above used the Fairbanks Morse    FMJ2A6   (J2A6 )  magnetos.  This kit ONLY FITS the FMX2A6  ( X2A6 ) magnetos and NOT the FMJ series.  If your tractor is equipped with the J2A6  ( FMJ2A6 ) magneto then please search eBay for the following kit:     FMJ2A6  F16A  magneto kit

Kit includes:

Ignition Points,   Condenser,    Rotor,   Cover,   Coil,   Complete Kill (Grounding)  Switch assembly,    cover brush and spring,

High voltage Lead Rod (screws into cover)
