You are bidding on these BEAUTIFUL AND REAL PLAQUE WITH PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED SPECIMEN dated from the Lower Ordovician period (450 million years ago). This is a unique fossil mortality bed from the Fezouata Formation of Morocco (Mecissi, a town North of the city of Zagora). The specimen color was not enhanced and very well preserved like every fossil coming from the same formation.
 

The size of the specimen is 10" by 6" by 1-1/8"(matrix included),
weight is 3 lbs 10.5 oz.
