DID 525VX X-Ring Chain

Created to withstand the severe demands of today’s top World Superbikes, DID is proud to introduce the high performance DID VX Series Chain. In developing it, DID focused on improving rigidity. Traditionally, tensile strength has been used to indicate the overall strength of a chain, but tensile strength is only a laboratory static measurement of a chain’s breaking point. Rigidity, on the other hand, is the ability of a chain to withstand forces that occur in a rider’s real world experience. Increased rigidity means better power transfer from the engine to the ground and greater resistance to stretching under load. This translates into smooth handling and quicker response time.

All D.I.D VX Chains feature D.I.D's patented X-Rings. The unique design of the X-Rings reduce friction by twisting between the side plates to help disperse pressure and minimize power loss. Its four contact points greatly increase its ability to seal in lubricates while keeping out dirt. Compared to O-Ring chains, X-Ring chains last up to 2X longer. Normal O-Ring and many modified O-Ring designs have pressure points that increase friction and decrease chain life.

The DID VX Series Chain, the ultimate in performance and durability for your dual sport, sport bike or sport touring bike.
