100% Polypropylene, 70gm per metre sq., spun bond, a nonwoven fabric, strong lightweight fabric, this is a great budget fabric for covering unsightly areas, wall covering, use on ceilings, use as backdrops on stages, lightweight curtains, also has great thermal properties and can work to block out draft, this fabric gets used in the furniture trade, medical trade, filtration, agriculture, carpet making, etc.. Variations of this fabric are also used in the roofing trade as an under felt menbrane prior to laying slates, use as a ground sheet prior to laying block paving, slabs etc.
It has excellent weed control properties, ideal choice of material for gardeners as weed membrane.
This fabric is Fire retardant to British Standards BS5852 (1979)
This material was tested according to BS5852: Part 1 : 1979 Methods of test for the ignitability by smokers, materials of upholstered composites for seating.
