1525 First edition. Believed to be the second (heavily illustrated) printed numismatic work, containing Lovely wood block prints with one or two Roman emperors and empresses on most every page. Illustrated cased title page with small Elephant depicted in corner .8vo, 4½ x 6¼" A modern binding in Vellum (warped) boards. Gilt on red Morocco label pasted on to the vellum. Stamped MDXXV on spine. Marbled end papers, sound and a bit stiff. 200 pages, Some light staining soiling and water marks. Two small markings. Still very nice.
