6 POSITION TONE SWITCH for BASS GUITAR - More tone for your bass!
This kit replaces the tone control on your bass with a more useful 6 position Tone Switch. Each position has a unique tone. One of the positions is complete bypass for a wide open bright tone for your bass. Other settings are deep bass, enhanced midrange and bright tones. If you leave your tone control wide open on your bass because rolling it back only causes the sound to get muddy - install one of these kits on your bass. You'll be surprised what a range of tones you can get. We have installed lots of these for our customers, including touring musicians.
Please read: The shaft of the tone switch is 1/4" and smooth. It requires a set screw type knob that will accept a 1/4" shaft. Most import instrument knobs will not fit the switch. USA Jazz Bass knobs WILL fit. Many people prefer a pointer knob ("chicken head" knob) for the tone switch. See our listing for the kit including a "chicken head" knob. We also stock jazz bass knob sets and dome knobs that will fit these switches.
