The bushes have a PTFE (red) coating on the inside, this is the wear surface, if your old bush has worn extensively to the hard shell this may have caused the softer aluminium Top Hats to wear, replacing the bushes in this case wont be enough as you will find you start to go through bushes quickly, Top Hat replacement will also be needed. I found I could replace bushes 3 times before Top Hats were needed but this depends on how far you let them wear. Fitting Tip: When cleaning the Top Hats, don't use wire wool or another abrasive, use a metal polish, this way you don't remove any metal from the Top Hats.

Measurements are in millimetres.
