Why we need to use different motor for 1:5 2WD and 4WD cars?
Tenshock have been working on 1:5 scale motor since 2009 .
We found we can not easily use just one motor both for 1:5 2WD and 4WD.
For example, put a motor which fits to your 2WD 1:5 car on a 4WD, the car will be hardly to run in full power.
And vice versa, put a 4WD motor on a 2WD car, the car is increased weight and power is over-given, it is hardly to run stably.
Absolutely, both of them can not reach perfect performance.
Therefore, to give more professional power supply, we make X501 for 1:5 4WD and X501s for 1:5 2WD.
Aa a 1:5 scale motor, it is wrong to say the larger the better.
To provide enough power to your cars, we tried our best to make the motor smaller.
We use 8 pole both in X501 and X501S. They have big advantage in torque.
Swallow rotor with Kevlar wrapped is a double insurance for monster power supply.
And the magnetic is hardly to get apart at a high speed.
Both of them have different kv for option. You can always find the one fitting for your car.

Return Policy:
If this item is defective upon receipt, customer has up to 14 days from date of receipt for exchange a new one or refund. After getting the returned item, we will refund the customer at the item's price ( excluding the shipping costs to and fro ).Please understand that shipping and handling fee is not refundable.
