Connection and Operation
1. Connect a jump cable from LNB to satellite finder's “Satellite”port.
Connect the "Receiver" port.
2. Make sure that satellite finder is properly connected Plug in the AC card and turn on the satellite receiver.
3. Set the dB to be one or 2 by ATT button, then signal LED will show form 15 to 30, then you can adjust the dish position, when you hear the buzzer alert and the value of signal strength will be more and more, that means you get the satellite signal.
4. Set the dB be 3 or 4, adjust the dish again and again until the value of signal strength is maximum, now you can see the LOCK light in the satellite receiver, if the Look light is lighting, that means you find the desired satellite, Otherwise you need to adjust the dish again.
Important Notes
1. Do not place the satellite finder front of dish.
2. When using high gain LNB, and the gain is more than 60dB, insert a 5 dB attenuator between LNB and satellite finder, or replace the jump cable GR-59U.
3. The max length for cable from dish to satellite finder is 5 meters.
