I will contact you to obtain all the information necessary to make your curtains, blinds, cushions,

All soft furnishings are professionally made to a high standard.

I only use high quality satine cotton linings and components.

~Linings~

~Head rails~

Roman blinds are made and supplied with the traditional fabric covered batten,

fully corded and a choice of brass/ chrome cleat?

As an alternative to the traditional fabric covered batten,

you can upgrade to a track mechanism with chain...

The upgrade price depends on the width of your blind.

Please ask for a price if you are interested in this track system.

All blinds will be delivered with head rails attached , complete with brackets and instructions...

Disclaimer: Young children can be strangled in cords,chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the blind.To avoid strangulation and entanglement keep cords, chains out of reach of young children.

Cords may become wrapped around a childs neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords. Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.

Please use safety device for chain operated track and cleat for cord operated track supplied with your new blind, it must be screwed to the wall or window frame and not glued and cord must be wound around cleat and surplus string must not hang more than 3" from cleat.

The chain loop or cord end must be at least 150cm above floor level. For your childs safety please DO NOT IGNORE THIS WARNING.

~Measuring guide for roman blinds~

Decide whether you require the blind to be placed inside or outside the recess.

Always use a metal ruler when measuring to give accurate measurements.

If your recess is less than 5cm in depth I would recommend the blind be fitted outside the recess.

~If you require your blind to be fitted inside the recess~

It is important to make sure the blind runs clear from the edge at all stages. To make sure of this, measure the exact width of the recess in three places, top, centre and near the bottom. Making allowances for tiles, dado rails or any permanent objects making sure nothing will obstruct the blind from running smoothly.

The smallest measurement - 1cm will be the one to send me. With regards to the drop, run through the same procedure measuring in three places, the measurement you provide will be the drop of your blind when made.

~If you require your blind to be fitted outside the recess~

Measure the exact drop and width of the recess. You must then establish how much above and below the recess the blind needs to be situated...usually approx 4 - 8". The drop will depend on how far your sill protrudes? If this is the case, you may want to decide on your blind finishing at the sill?

The width normally only needs approx 2- 3" either side but that will depend on the your window.

Made to measure items are not returnable as they are made to your exact requirements. Please ensure you have provided the correct measurements and are happy with the fabric prior to purchase.
