Ironbottom Sound:

Ironbottom Sound is a tactical simulation of the night actions fought off of the island of Guadalcanal in 1942. This long and bloody struggle saw more ship to ship actions than any other one player in World War II and caused the Sound off Guadalcanal to be renamed "Ironbottom Sound" because of the number of ships sent to the bottom there. The game is played between two or more players who may command squadrons or sections of squadrons. The game player will find this an exciting and flexible game. It captures the flavor of those battles.
