Black Tea SymbolThe Black Dragon Pearls Experience: intriguing name, equally intriguing teaTea-House-Yunnan

This pure black tea is a spherical beauty. The lovely rolled leaves are slightly varied in color and texture, producing a complex, earthy and subtly sweet cup. At the finish, a rich sweetness lingers.

Tasting Notes: strong, smooth, nuanced

This premium black tea is a joy to drink. The tightly-rolled pearls dramatically unfurl, some up to two inches in length. The dark amber infusion yields a slight cocoa note in the aroma. It’s a full-bodied, exquisitely complex black tea with hints of brown sugar and malt. Because the pearls expand to offer more leaf surface, they can be steeped multiple times. Don’t miss this divine tea.

Ingredients: Black Tea from Yunnan Province in China

Savoring Your Experience:

For fullest flavor, we suggest using three pearls for an 8-ounce cup. Use a large tea infuser or basket so your pearls can fully expand.

Fun Facts:

Our Black Dragon Pearls comes from Yunnan, China's most biodiverse and (in our opinion) stunningly beautiful province. It is largely mountainous, with many rivers, lakes and huge forests of large, old-growth trees (including towering tea plants). Early Western explorers were captivated by its orchids and other fauna, and tales of this enchanted land formed the legend of Shangri-La as they reached Europe and America. We are captivated by Yunnan's incredible teas!
