~  D E S C R I P T I O N  ~ 

This very attractive set of pink flamingo salt and pepper shakers was manufactured by Five and Dime Inc. (a division of Sarsaparilla) in Sri Lanka in 1986 as part of their Salt & Pepper Collectibles Series. This nostalgic collection was rendered straight from authentic antique original designs.

They are 4" tall and each flamingo has its head tucked into its back. Both have their original plastic stoppers. These ceramic shakers are in near mint condition, the only flaw being a very small chip on the perimeter of the underside, which is away from view. They coloring on the flamingos is amazing with different shades of pink and teal.
