Pochette travel soap pouch paper pattern or kit.

The Pochette is a washable soap pouch ideal for transporting your soap when travelling. The waterproof lining can simply be wiped clean and if the outer fabric becomes soiled, the pouch may be hand or machine washed. The finished Pochette makes a great gift, especially as more people are now switching to using solid soap. The Pochette can hold a soap weighing up to 250 grams. This is a great pattern for using up small scraps of fabric which we all accumulate in our stash. If you can't bear to throw away any fabric, then this is a great pattern to start reducing those excesses. The Pochette can also be made from a single fabric - a fat eighth or A4 paper sized is plenty. Don't have any fabric scraps? No problem - select a complete sewing kit and the fabric will be included, as well as the batting and waterproof lining. You may freely sell items made from this pattern. Suitable for beginners.

The Pochette pattern/kit is available in the following options:

- Pattern/instructions only
- Pattern/instructions plus polyester wadding and waterproof lining
- Patchwork sewing kit - pattern/instructions, polyester wadding, waterproof lining, round elastic, button and selection of fabrics (at least four)

- Upcycled jeans sewing kit - pattern/instructions, polyester wadding, waterproof lining, round elastic, button, upcycled denim and small fabric pieces for applique

PLEASE NOTE: fabrics shown are examples of fabrics that you may receive and those that will come with the kit may differ from the photos but will be along the same colour theme you select. You will always receive at least four fabrics in a patchwork kit. The upcycled jeans kit will contain an A4 sized piece of upcycled denim (seams may be included to add interest) and small pieces of fabric suitable for applique. Fabrics are 100% cotton (with only one or two exceptions) and are selected from end of rolls/offcuts of our stock. They may include, among others, Amy Butler, Kaffe Fassett Collective, Dashwood Studio, Rose and Hubble, Liberty, Moda, Joel Dewberry, Snow Leopard Designs and Hoffman batiks.
