 Dorothy, Mrs Dennis , of Pendrose House West, White Lion Road, Amersham, Bucks, was a student at the  London Art College, 143 Fleet Street, in the late 1930s.      We have been unable to discover her subsequent career, but clearly from the work at the college which we are presenting, she had a promising future.  
All are illustrations for various products or publications and are unmounted in very good condition     Most have the college stamp on the reverse with her address.   A number are signed. 
This example is a fine gouache drawing of the frontispiece for the book Quack and Tweet by Ruth Grey.    It is signed  with address on the reverse.
