The Westbury Blue Painted Medium 2 Drawer 2 Door Sideboard is a very practical piece of furniture that can be used in many areas of your home. Great to use in a dining room, kitchen or living room due to its versatility. (There is also a matching glazed dresser top available as a separate listing).
The medium sized blue painted and oak sideboard features two spacious upper drawers and two larger lower cupboards doors with an open internal area with a fixed shelf.
The body is painted in an inky navy blue colour with a satin paint finish and the beautifully contrasting light natural oak top has a protective satin lacquered finish that is both hard-wearing and maintenance free. The Westbury Blue paint colour is traditional in feel and has deep inky navy blue tones that when placed in well-lit areas of your home it will appear much bluer and in darker areas it will appear much darker. This blue painted furniture contrasts beautifully against light greys and natural pastel coloured walls.
This blue painted sideboard is supplied with elegant brushed steel finish cup style handles on the drawers and round knob handles on the doors. The contrasting handles really work well with the blue and oak colours and perfectly complement the design. They give it an attractive feel that is both at home in a modern or traditional setting and these brushed steel handles are seen incorporated into many luxurious interiors nowadays.
This sideboard is skilfully hand made with traditional time honoured construction methods using a combination of high quality North American solid oak for the top frame, thick oak veneer in the top panel, solid pine for the body frames and drawer internals and man-made board for selected panels for increased strength and durability over time. The drawers feature dovetail joints for increased strength and drawer stops to prevent you from accidentally pulling the drawers all the way out.
The Westbury blue painted range has a simple yet stylish design that makes this range stand out from the rest, with the blue painted bodies, 40mm thick oak tops and tapered feet. Not only is it beautiful to look at it is backed up by its premium quality. It is equally at home in both a contemporary home as it is a traditional country cottage due to the timeless clean styling.
