A classic ‘Pyramid’ vase in pewter, pattern no. ‘9674’ by Whitefriars dating to the 1960s.
The ‘Pyramid’ vase was designed by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars as part of the textured range which launched in 1967.
The vase is of triangular form in pewter coloured glass.
The front and back faces have a tree bark like texture while the sides are smooth.
The vase has the smooth circular pontil mark to the base which is characteristic of Whitefriars glass.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase measures 18cm (7 inches) wide, 6.5cm (2 ½ inches) deep with a height of 18cm (7 inches).
It weighs 1.42 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The vase is in a beautiful condition with no damages and just a few light scratches to the base.
