Superb engraved frontispiece signed Jan Van Stranen, title page printed in red and black with an engraved headpiece, very old bibliotheque identification mark removed, age faded. Fine engraved headpiece.  (iv), 132 pp., foxed and age darkened, 14 pp. index, 59 full page extremely fine engraved plates of coins, some untrimmed. 25 x 20 cm. Fully bound in fine original vellum with seven vellum thongs sewn through spine, small expert repair of nick on foredge, morocco label, gilt, yellow silk headbands. All edges yellow. An exceptionally attractive Antiquarian volume in a nice state of preservation with superb engraved plates.

 lipsius p. 66 records this as a 1694 edition and other works by this 17th century writer. Interesting and Rare.
