The rods are very good quality with steel inner cores, brass unions and a plastic sleeve over each section. The sleeve moves on the outside of the rods as when dealing with narrow calibre, it stops the rods from marking the chamber or muzzle of your rifle. 

The handle is wooden and rotates on the shaft so that when cleaning the brush can turn with the rifling of your barrel and you don't have to worry about the cleaning head unscrewing and getting jammed in your barrel as you clean. 

Why so cheap ?  

I purchased a large number so can pass them on at a low price. Rod with adaptor 29 1/4" long and the handle is 4"  Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd class.
