The Sunflower and the Bee, a love story!

This antique silver finish metal shepherd's hook is approximately 3.4 in (86 mm). The bookmark is Tibetan silver and is engraved on both sides with intricate scrollwork. 

The Bookmark from the top of the hook to the bottom tip of the Sunflower measures 3.5 inches (89 mm). This is a dainty piece as both the metal shepherd's hook, the chain and the charms are small, but well detailed. It will remind you of the frail condition of the North American bee, and its important relationship with the flower.

There are three chains attached to the bookmark by a 6 mm jump ring, one chain holds the two yellow 10 mm Czech beads wire wrapped to the chain, the colour of the beads representing the sun which the Sunflower follows religiously each day, the middle chain holds a multitude of tiny silver leaf charms which flow down over the Sunflower charm which measures approximately a quarter of inch wide, and the final chain presents our hero the hard working bumble bee, a two sided, well detailed silver charm at .50 inches wide (12.7 mm)
