With the AVerEPack you can give presentations without carrying your notebook along or, for that matter, without having a computer in the room at all. As long as you have a supported display device (television, LCD projector or VGA monitor, for example), you only need to bring the AVerEPack and the appropriate connecting cable and, hopefully, you'll captivate your audience. Great idea, but in actual use it's not quite what it should be.

The small, light unit provides four ports: VGA out, S-Video out, RCA video out, and printer port in. The first three serve for showing the contents of the unit's CompactFlash memory card on a display device, while the printer port input is how you save data onto the memory card. You connect one end of the included parallel cable to the PC's printer port and the other to the AVerEPack, and you transfer graphics files to the unit from the PC via this cable.
