See(Letterbox Widescreen format 2:35:1) & Hear(Dolby 2.0 Surround) this great trilogy as first released. The artists' work, recognized by the Academy, needs preserved!  Lucas doesn’t realize these films are perfect as is. “We must keep the original effects, scenes, & puppets, that’s what makes it so good!"

This collection has the original "Han shoots 1st scene."  Jabba appears 1st in ROJ.  Jabba's palace & songs are unedited. Darth Vader doesn't yell "Nooo!" as he kills the Emperor. The Ewoks sing "Yub Nub" & Sebastian Shaw is Anakin's Force ghost. ALL OTHER VERSIONS, including blu rays, limited gold full screen dvds & silver dvd box sets, HAVE THESE ALTERATIONS + many more:  

  • Greedo Shots 1st - ANH: The most infamous alteration.
  • CGI Multi Effects: "An act of cultural vandalism"  The original, award winning, effects were completely groundbreaking.
  • CGI Jabba the Hut Scene - ANH:  Look closely, you'll see Greedo in the backdrop despite the fact Han shot him!
  • CGI Yoda replacing Frank Oz's puppet.
  • Edited Emperor's Hologram/Voice - ESB
  • Editing Jabba's Palace Sequence - ROJ Lapti Nek song(45 sec) replaced by Jedi Rocks(approx. 2 min), expanded Oola's death scene, & removed Sy Snootles puppet
  • Hayden Christensen as Anakin's ghost.
  • CGI Gungans Celebration Scene - ROJ replacing Ewoks celebration song & dance.
  • Altered John Williams Score: You do not quieten, remove or edit John Williams.
  • Anamorphic Viewing - zoomed cropped picture.  The "New Sealed," Fake, Faulty Despecialized blu-rays with resealed cheap wrap & bootleg printed artwork are anamorphic. Plays once, maybe - No scratch proof coating preventing data corruption. 

The blu-rays, & other dvd releases, are digitally cleaned for video with 5.1 surround sound, but each contain altered scenes & viewing. This limited collection is simply the best legal format available & they're looong out of print (2006 Lucasfilm Ltd).  See other items
