This is a Gilby Clarke solo album “Rubber" promo flat and this one is signed by Gilby himself. 


For those of you that are not familiar with what a record flat is:

This is a thick stock cardboard advertising piece that was issued to record stores at the time of the album's release. They were not available to the public and never available for purchase- making them that much more rare. They are approximately 12" square - about the size of a record album jacket.

As this wasn’t a major label release, not many of these flats were produced making the item that much more scarce.

Signed in permanent silver paint pen. Gilby signed when he was out on tour with Kings of Chaos in 2017. Please see the attached photo of Gilby taken at the time of the signing.

Furthermore, this item was authenticated by Beckett authentication services who is one of the leaders in third party authentication for musician and celebrity signatures. The authentication ID sticker was placed on the back side of the flat. The number can be validated on their website. Additionally, a COA card from Beckett will accompany this item.

Minimal handling wear to the item. No major damage of any kind. Unbelievable condition for an item of this type that is decades old. Please see the photos for exact condition details. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions about the condition of the item.
