Vintage Reversible Obi

This type of Obi is often folded in half length-wise before being tied to create a han-haba obi. It is made of heavy woven, probably silk fabric. It is a really cute polka-dot design and is reversible: red & white with silver dots on one side and white & red with silver stripes on the other. It is 144” or 368cm in length and measures: 12” or 30cm wide. It comes rolled on a spool.

This Obi has been worn and has age spots on white side but the red side is in very good condition. It is reversible but the red side is in better condition. One of the silver threads at the end has come apart but can ealily be removed if you like - see photos. Excellent quality.
