Maiogi Dance Fan From Kyoto

Design:

This lovely fan came from one of Kyoto’s renown fan makers. It is gradated cream to orange  and is covered in golden sakura cherry blossoms with glossy black lacqured bamboo struts. It measures about 20” or 52cm from tip to tip when open and is 12” or about 30cm long when closed. It comes in its original storage box. Excellent quality, this fan would be perfect for dance practice, performances or display…

Condition:

It seems to have been very lightly used. The fan is structurally sound and shows only very minor bends to the outer-most corners and tiny frays on the inside edges - see photos.

Its condition has be carefully taken into consideration in the price so please see photos for details. The first 2 photos show both sides of the fan. Please examine them carefully to be sure you are happy with the fan before making your purchase.
