The Battle of Naseby 1645, by Robert Morris

Booklet published by Stuart Press in 1995, 20 pages. Slim A5 size booklet (N7431)

This booklet provides a brief account of the Battle of Naseby, which was a decisive engagement of the First English Civil War. The battle was fought near the village of Naseby in Northamptonshire on the 14th June 1645 between the main Royalist army of King Charles I and the Parliamentarian New Model Army, commanded by Sir Thomas Fairfax and Oliver Cromwell, and it led to the almost total destruction of the Royalist army as a fighting force.

The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has some minor scuffs and blemishes, and light wear along the edges and corners, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover.

When we post our books, we take great care in packaging them - first your book will be wrapped in bubblewrap, which protects the book and even keeps out any rain (in the event that it's raining when the postie delivers it!). Then we wrap your book in stiff cardboard, taking care to make sure all the corners are protected, and finally the package is wrapped in thick brown paper.
