This Leica StereoZoom 5 Microscope w/ Cole-Parmer FOI-150-UL Illuminator is in fair cosmetic condition with signs of use.
This unit has scuffs and scratches present, as well as discoloration and staining. The eye pieces have smudges and scratches.
The microscope was able to focus on a specimen and the illuminator powered on. Microscope has several issues:
- Eye piece tube distance is not in sync - the eye piece tubes move separate from one another.
- Alignment of the two eye pieces seemed to be slightly off, they had slightly different fields of view.
- Diopter adjustment on the left eye piece didn't seem to work properly, it took me a long time to get
it to adjust properly. - Microscope doesn't remain in focus when using the zoom function.
- The illuminator ring is taped in place as there is no mounting ring on the microscope.
