This is a fun and educational interactive toy for children. I counted 37 interactive spots. As I was testing it, I kept finding more interactive elements. 

This set contains the train station with attached folding track. It also has 18 different interactive animals, and 7 interactive props. It also has a plastic zipper bag for the props and animals. 

Animals included are:  Pelican, Koala, Tiger, Hippo, Kangaroo, Rhino, Giraffe, Cheetah, Panda, Parrot, Monkey, Gorilla, Winking Elephant, Peacock, Crocodile, Zebra, Lion, and Polar Bear. 

The 7 props are: railroad crossing sign, Vtech flag, lamppost, stop sign, garbage can, payphone, and train engine. 

Train station has two modes, Discovery or Learning, as well as the off mode.

 

Set is in great condition. Gently played with. The flower stickers above the shapes are peeling off a little bit. 

I'm not sure if there should be other train cars, but it does come with the train engine which holds one character at a time. 

Tracks fold together and then fold against the train station for easy and compact storage. There is a zipper bag for the animals and props. 

When laid out, train station is approx 13 1/2 inches tall, 31 long (tracks), 19 wide (back of train station, across the tracks) 

The characters and props are 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches tall.

In Discovery Mode the set does the following things: 

-On the blue track, push the star to have it sing the ABC song. The Colored dots on the screen above the modes will show each letter as it sings them. 

As you click on each of the letters, it will say the word for the image shown and make a sound that goes with the image being represented on the colored dots. On the letter buttons, the B is touchy. You have to push it a certain way to get it to work. 

The Letters say the following word in quotes and the screen displays the following picture. They also make sound effects, but some are hard to describe. 

A "Apple", crunch sound, picture of apple.  B "Ball" bouncing sound, shows a ball. C "Car" Car drives by. D "doll", see smiling face. E "Egg" I think we see egg on screen, crack sound. F "Fish" Fish swim off. G "gift", unwrapping sound, gift on screen. H "Hat" top hat tips on screen. I "igloo", snow blowing sound, igloo on screen. J "Jam"  Jam jar on the screen.  K "Kite", Kite flies by on screen. L "Leaf", leaf floats by. M "Moon", moon twinkles. N "Nut", nut cracker sound. O "Octopus", octopus swims by. P "Pail", water splashes. Q "Quilt", we see quilt squares. R "Ring", bling sounds, see a ring on the screen. S "Sun" sun rays are displayed. T "Tent", tent is displayed, zipper sounds. U "Umbrella", umbrella on the screen with rain sounds. V "Van" , van drives by, honks. W "Wagon" wagon rolls by. X "x-ray" buzzing sound. Y "yoyo", yoyo on screen. Z "zipper", zip sounds. 

If you click the music note it plays songs: Turkey in the Straw, If You're Happy and You Know it, Oh Susannah, She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain, I've Been Working on the Railroad. These songs also play at random if you don't interact with it for awhile. 

In Learning Mode, the ABC buttons along the track will say the letter and make the sound of the letter. The star and music note seem to be the same in  learning and discovery modes. 

There are two yellow buttons on the side. The right one says " Here comes the train" and  "Stop, look and listen before crossing the tracks" It also dings like a railroad crossing and a train goes across the screen. In Learning mode, one will say "Do you know your ABC's?" and then sing the ABC song.  

The left yellow button on the track makes dinging and train hooting sounds. 

Button under the blue controls says ""All aboard"  and "Don't be late, you'll miss your train". 

The red box under the shapes and the button next to the clock do similar things depending on the mode. In Discovery mode, the red box identifies the animal, gives two facts, tells its color, and makes an animal sound.  In learning mode it only identifies the animal, the color and makes a sound. This limited function is what the button by the clock does in discovery mode. In learning mode, their roles are reversed. Each of the animals interact with these buttons. 

The animals do the following when interacting with the train station. 

Lion:  "I'm a lion", "I'm Yellow", "I have a furry mane.", "I like to roar". 

Tiger: "I'm a tiger." "I like to roar.", "I have stripes.", "I'm orange". 

Hippo: "I'm a hippo", "I like to swim", "I have smooth skin", "I'm gray". 

Kangaroo: "I'm a Kangaroo,", "I have a pouch." "I like to hop", "I'm brown". 

Koala: "I'm a Koala", "I'm gray", "I have a furry body.", "I like to climb." 

Peacock: "I'm a peacock.", "I have colorful feathers.", "I like to strut." , "I'm green". 

Elephant: "I'm  an elephant.", "I'm gray.",  I have a long trunk.", "I like to eat peanuts". 

Monkey: "I'm a monkey." , "I'm orange.", "I have a furry body.", "I like to swing". 

Gorilla:  "I'm a gorilla.",  I'm brown", "I have a furry body", " I like to eat bananas". 

Rhino: "I'm a rhino.", "I'm gray",  " I have a horn", "I like to run". 

Giraffe: "I'm a giraffe", "I'm yellow", "I have a long neck", "I like to eat leaves" 

Chettah: " I'm a cheetah", "I have spots", "I like to run", I'm yellow" 

Parrot: "I'm a parrot", "I'm green". "I have colorful feathers", "I like to talk" 

Panda: "I'm a panda.", "I'm black and white", "I have a furry body", "I like to eat bamboo". 

Polar Bear: "I'm a polar bear", "I'm white", " I have a furry body.", "I like to swim". 

Crocodile: "I'm a crocodile", "I'm green", "I have lots of teeth", "I like to swim" 

Pelican: "I'm a pelican", "I'm white", "I have a big beak", "I like to eat fish" 

Zebra: "I'm a zebra", "I'm black and white", I like to gallop", "I have stripes" 

The props are also interactive with the train station. They do the following: 

Phone: Rings 

Trashcan: "Don't polute" 

Lamp: "You're so bright" 

Stop sign: "Stop and look both ways" 

Railroad crossing: "Ding sound and "Watch for the train" 

Vtech flag " It's windy" 

The 5 pieces with the shapes play a musical note. In the learning mode, they will identify their color and the shape that is displayed on the front. 

In discovery mode, the clock tells the time "12 o'clock, 1 o'clock", etc. when the hand is turned. 

 The 3, 6, 9, and 12 which are all red also have additional phrases.  "12 o'clock, good afternoon. The train has just arrived.".  "3 o'clock, good afternoon the train is ready to roll" " 6 o'clock. Dinner time",  "9 o'clock, good evening, The station is now closed." In the learning mode, instead of the hour, the clock just tells the number.  

There is also an interactive button behind the blue control box. 

Toy encourages the child to interact with it, "Let's find some more friends to play with." "Where is the Lion?" When the child correctly puts the lion on the red square the toy says "Yes, you found the Lion"  In the learning mode it helps them practice letters. "What letter makes the ... sound?" The child would then push on the correct letter key to be praised

If you don't interact with it, it sings a song or asks the child a question. 

Shipping may be higher because set weighs about 6 1/2 pounds all together. 

Shipping Policy- 

I only ship to the lower 48 states. I primarily use USPS for all shipping. I try to ship within 2- 5 days of payment. Please be mindful that holidays and holiday weekends may on occasion delay shipping due to Post Office closure.  I try to ship items in the manner most cost effective to the buyer, while not sacrificing the items protection from damage. 

Return /Refund Policy 

All sales are final.  Please read the description carefully and view the provided pictures before buying. I take care to send the item in the condition that  is described and shown.  

If your item is damaged in transit and arrives broken, please contact me as soon as possible. I require notification of damage/defects within 3 days of delivery. Please include photos of the damage. I do issue refunds for items that have significant damage incurred in transit. If your item has "cosmetic" damage or repairable damage, I will look into the matter and determine if a partial refund is applicable. I require photos of the damage to your item.  

My policy is that I do not accept returns. It is at my discretion if I chose to make an exception. In cases of an exception, buyer may be responsible for shipping costs, and/ or waive their refund of shipping costs 

Payment Policy 

I only accept PayPal. I will not ship your item until payment is received.
