Battle of Helms Deep:
The Battle of Helm's Deep was a short siege in the early part of the campaign, when the forces of good were being driven back by the forces of evil. The men of Rohan under Theoden, their King, had fallen back to an ancient fortress in a narrow mountain gorge, closely pursued by the evil forces of Saruman, a traitorous magician.
The game recreates the storming of the fortress on the night of March 3rd, 3019 of the Third Age of Middle Earth.
Battle of the Slag Hills:
Battle of the Slag Hills recreates the last battle of the "War of the Ring." After the destruction of the army of Mordor during their siege of the city of Minas Tirith, the remaining armies of Gondor and the Gree Peoples marched to the gates of the land of Mordor. Although fearfully outnumbered, and without hope for victory, their intent was to draw the attention of the Dark Lord out of his realm, in order to aid the Ringbearer in his mission inside the lands of Mordor.
This game starts at the onset of the Mordor attack, and ends at the point where the Ringbearer completed his task, and brought about the downfall of Sauron.
