Scream Alert activates
Emergency Phones when a loud scream is detected. Designed for use with all 400
and 500 Series phones and for 100 Series phones with Aux Option. Use only in
indoor locations, such as stairwells, elevators, and bathrooms.
Description
The unit
shall be an indoor Scream Alert™, model SA-1, no substitutions, for activating
a Talk-A-Phone Co. Emergency Phone upon detection of a scream.
Construction
Unit shall
have a stainless steel faceplate and weigh 2.5 lbs.
Unit shall
measure 4.13" W x 4.13" H x 2" D
Features
Unit shall
activate Talk-A-Phone Emergency Phones hands-free by detecting scream.
Volume and
duration of scream required to activate shall both be adjustable.
Unit shall have a built-in trickle charge
battery backup.
Unit shall
include a 9VDC input power supply.
Unit shall
provide open collector output of 15 VDC, 50 mA maximum.
Unit shall
mount flush into wall or on surface using model K-SM Surface Mount Box.
