This is a very common problem for all Audi A4 / A6 vehicles with Multitronic transmission, the fault will cause the "PRNDS" light to flash on the dashboard and the gearbox will go into "limp mode" the fault will start out as intermittent but will always become more permanent if left for long enough.

Common Failures:

"PRNDS" light flashing

Gearbox in limp mode

Fault codes for Range sensors

Programming:

There is no need for any programming once the repaired gearbox ECU is refitted to the vehicle.

Turn around time:

We will need your unit for approx 1 days to complete the full repair.
