In "Range" test mode using the simple set up shown in picture 6, I was out 350 feet and was still getting an RSSI of 80 and full control.  

To use this receiver with any of the 4 in 1 or 5 in 1 Multi Protocol modules, set the Multi mode to FlSky2A and RF Protocol to PPM,SBUS or PPM,IBUS and bind.

You will get 8 channels PPM and 14 Channels SBUS or 8 Channels PPM and 18 Channels IBUS. All with great telemetry.
