EUONYMUS JAPONICUS VAR. MICROPHYLLUS

"TOM THUMB"



Euonymus japonicus or Tom Thumb is a small evergreen dwarf shrub with dark green glossy foliage. It has a compact, dense growth habit and is suitable for low hedging and border planting.

Grows to approximately 60cm.

Plant 30cm apart for hedging and trim to maintain shape.

Specimens for sale are established large plants approximately 45cm high in 8" (200mm) pots. They are dense, healthy plants as pictured above.


CULTURE NOTES

Full sun to partial shade.

Suitable for most soils and conditions, including drought and salt.

Has a moderate growth rate and requires little maintenance once established.

Low maintenance. Can tolerate frost.

Requires little watering once established.

Plants are available for pickup from nursery in Mt Dandenong on weekends only. Courier transport can be arranged for Vic buyers. Email or phone me for an appointment. For quarantine reasons I cannot ship to WA or Tasmania.
