Triple bill of films for the whole family. 'Chicken Run' (2000) is Nick Park's animated pastiche of 'The Great Escape'. Life on Tweedy's Chicken Farm is far from pleasant for the inmates: they are badly treated by Mr Tweedy and his domineering wife, and kept alive only as long as they keep producing eggs. 'James and the Giant Peach' (1996) is an adaptation of the famous children's book by Roald Dahl. When his parents are killed by a giant rhino, James Henry Trotter has to live with (and skivvy for) his nasty aunts Spiker (Joanna Lumley) and Sponge (Miriam Margolyes). However, after he is given magic crocodile tongues by a stranger, amazing things begin to happen. James escapes from his aunts by climbing inside a giant peach, and setting off with all the friendly, talking insects who live inside it. 'Anastasia' (1998) is an animated retelling of the story of the Russian peasant girl who finds out that she is actually the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II. After the revolution in 1917, she is spirited away from the Bolshevik executions of her family, and taken in by a family in Siberia. Anastasia soon sets out to reclaim her royal legacy. This version of the allegedly true story features the vocal talents of Meg Ryan, John Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Christopher Lloyd and Angela Lansbury.
