Roman gives us Fontanini Nativity figures, ornaments, and accessories.  Not in current catalogs, this figure of Ezra with eggs in his hat, can be used as a town figure, in a Christmas scene, or year round.  Item # 52554.  Ezra is kneeling with a hat full of eggs in his left hand. He is wearing reddish orange pants with a greenish/brown fur look shirt and he has shoes on his feet.  He wears no hat or head covering so his bald head and grey beard adds age to this figure.  This version of Ezra has been replaced (2005) by item #57524, which is shown in the previous listing.  In the newer figure, Ezra looks more prosperous with a basket for his eggs and more clothing.  The attention to detail is great!  This set fits in the "5 in" Fontanini series.  NEW in original box. The figure is a polymer material that is almost indestructible.  Other town figures from the Fontanini Nativities can be added very nicely to the Life of Christ series. 

 Fontanini was founded in 1908 and has produced many figures of saints, and figures from Christ's Life.  The Nativity figures come in many sizes.  In prior years, as small as 1in. up to almost life size.  The most popular sizes sold today are: 2.5 in. usually in ornaments or scenes, 5 in. & 7.5 in (most popular for home because of the sizes), 12 in., 20 in. 27 in. and 50+in for large gathering places (Church, halls, etc.) They also have sets which include stables.  Wedding "starter" sets and "first Nativity" sets for children are also available.  There is a huge selection of towns people and buildings, along with Kings, Shepherds, Angels, and assorted animals to add to sets each year.
