Boston Fern, Sword Fern, nephrolepis exaltata, no matter what you call it; this fern is the staple of the fern family. 

Boston Fern grows native to the deep south. This listing is for one large rooted clump, will be shipped bare root. These ferns make magnificent hanging baskets, One clump will quickly fill a 12" basket. These Boston Ferns are very hardy for in ground growth, never freeze and spread quickly for a wonderful back drop. Fronds are large and will grow to 15 to 18" tall. Grow well in shaded areas or full sun. Fertilize sparingly only twice a year. Very pest resistant.

Propagation is by division. The is THE fern seen on wrap around porches and veranda's everywhere. 

All my plants are grown organically in my own special potting mix. First, Icompost vegetable scraps with hay and shredded leaves. Then I mix that withpeat moss, vermiculite, and fertilizer.
