The Bob Ross landscape brushes are special brushes made from natural bristles (*with the exception of the #2 Script Liner) and shaped according to Bob's very precise specifications for the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique, as seen on The Joy of Painting.

There are an assortment of sizes and brushes types to choose from, each helping to achieve unique techniques.

Landscape Brush 1" - One of the four large landscape brushes commonly used in the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique.  It is used to apply Liquid White/Black/Clear, paint clouds, skies, water, mountains, trees, bushes and numerous other effects with surprising detail.

Background Brush 2" - To create all of the effects that the 1” brush is used for, yet large enough to cover large areas very rapidly.

Soft Blender 2" -  To achieve all of those soft, delicate, subtle areas so often found in landscapes and seascapes:  skies with soft, wispy clouds, the misty areas at the base of mountains, background trees and waterfalls.  In seascapes, the 2” Blender is especially effective for blending the transparency or “eye” of the large wave.

Round Foliage -  This brush will create numerous fantastic effects such as clouds, foothills, trees and bushes.

Half Size Round - perfect for creating beautifully shaped trees, bushes and foliage.

Oval - primarily used for making evergreen trees and foothills and for highlighting trees and bushes.

Fan Blender 3 / 6 - The small no. 3 Fan Brush is used to paint all of the same spectacular effects that the larger no. 6 Fan Brush creates, but with more detail. Can be used for tree effects.

Script Liner - For the creation of long, fine lines, such as bare tree branches.

Filbert - Used most commonly for the seascapes and can also be used for tree trunks and other small detail work.
