Vintage Black Hills Photo Album with beautiful hand painted and lettered leather cover.  The "Black Hills. S. Dak." looks like it was burned in as there is a slight indentation.  I assume this would have been purchased at a gift shop near the Black Hills - this was found in Minnesota so perhaps from a vacation back in the 1930s-1950s (not sure on the exact date but the lettering on the Memory Leaves pages makes me think 30s or 40s).

The album measures 13 3/4 by 7 inches.  At the spine, it is about 1 inch thick.

The front cover is suede-type leather and the back cover is a brown fiberboard/cardboard type material.

The pages inside have never been used - there is no writing on any of the three memory pages and no photos and/or mounting corners have been added to the 30 black photo pages.

The only blemishes that I can see is a 1/4" missing triangle of the paper on the first memory page, some missing pieces of paper along the edge of the 2nd and 3rd memory pages and the adhesive from the modern price tag from the store I bought it at on the inside front cover.  I removed that price tag and there is still a tiny bit of adhesive so I will ship this with an acid-free piece of paper in between to prevent it from sticking to the first memory page.

The original handwritten price is visible in the top left of the inside cover ($2.50) but I consider part of the piece itself since it's from the time when it was for sale.
