When Agnes (O'Sullivan) attends her best friend Lily (Aleksandra Svetlichnaya)'s debut at the Bates Hotel, a Halloween themed establishment that prides itself on scaring its guests, an elaborate stunt goes horribly wrong resulting in Lily's gruesome death. Although the police dismiss the event as a tragic accident, Agnes is determined to get justice for Lily's untimely death. On discovering that there have been more 'accidents' in the year since Lily died, Agnes must find out who or what is killing these people.
