For sale we are offering a 9" tall Antique Chinese Carved Boxwood Statue .

The carving features waves lapping at the base, a Bird appears to hold up the tree above, a curving staircase with men carrying a cloth covered tray and a bowl on top. Beside the tree base is a group of seated men, above which a man is seated at cloth covered table. Across the other side of the tree is a grouping of men, seated at and around another cloth covered table. The tree extends to the top and a large leaf covers the top of the carving.

Much detail to the tree, the structure of the building and the 14 men that I take to be monks.

Size: approx 9" tall with 3" base. Weight is 1 lb 8 ozs.
