Believe in Stories Bookmark Large Bowed Scroll Black & White Unicorn Portrait on Moon and Stars with Celtic Knots and Triskelion

This beautiful bookmark begins with our large bowed scroll Tibetan silver bookmark. It curves outward in a lovely bow line and scroll work is etched down along each side of the bookmark. The shepherd's hook is approximately 5 inches (123 mm).

A silver finish chain loops through the pendant bail to hold a lovely unicorn portrait with the unicorn's mane curling like the corona of the sun against a backdrop of the moon and stars. It is beautiful in its detail and its symmetry. Framed at its outer edge by celtic knots and completed at the bottom by a flowing Triskelion symbol, three clockwise spirals from a central hub.

The Triskelion is an ancient Celtic symbol, widely believed to be one of the oldest symbols on Earth and one of the oldest Irish symbols (the origins of the symbol predates even the arrival of the Celts in the British Isles). It is based on the importance of three and has been used to represent many groupings of three with major importance, such as the physical, spiritual, and celestial realms, the earth, the sky, and water, or the sun, the moon, and the stars.

The cabochon has a 25 mm diameter (1 inch), a glass dome, and the back of the pendant has detailed spiral relief engravings.

A second chain holds Tibetan silver charms of a fountain pen nib (33 x 7 mm) and a circle engraved with "Believe" (12 mm) and a third chain has a clear multi-faceted wire-wrapped 10 mm Swarovski crystal bead with a rainbow finish.

All of the chains are wire wrapped together on an ornate Tibetan silver 8 mm wreath ring.

The bookmark from the top of the shepherd's hook to the bottom of the crystal bead measures approximately 150 mm (6 inches).
