A print taken from the Austin Healey Millennium Calendar by David Purvis MG MA in 2012 it will be 12 years old. The lego man is not for sale but just  to give you an idea of the size . The size is approx 12 inches wide by 8.5 inches long or 30cm wide by 21cm long. This item will be packed with a stiff card when posted . It will make a nice item for collectors or for framing . If you buy this item it will help fund my e bay buying and Le mans obsession . Thank you for looking.

The Healey Climax SR 2 litre V8 coventry climax engine was mid engined and mated with a Hewland DG 300 gearbox .

In the 1968 race it carried the Race number 47 but did not finish due the clutch jamming in the out position due to a bearing seizure

*As for the car ,1969 was its second year and it was to br driven by Clive Barker and Jeff Harris . The car managed 14 laps ." At an early stage of the race the car got stuck in a  jam caused by an accident . Racing cars do not use fans , depending on forward motion for cooling . The car overheated causing a water leak to develop at the cyclinder head joint and the car was with drawn *.

The car was rebuilt /canablised to make it an open version . In 1970 it ran until the last lap and failed due to electrics . It survived a early collision and a gear box rebuild during the race
