Carlo Lambruzzi was a landscape and figure painter and Professor at the Academy of Fine Art in Perugia.   He became Director in 1812 until his death
This series of sepia Etching Plates with aquatint of figure studies of groups of people near Rome was made between 1788 and 1794.     The small items have been grouped together in eights or sixes.     The larger are sold singly.    All are in fine condition.      Some have line borders, others trimmed to the image..   All are unmounted; some have original backing.
This fine item depicts a young man and woman facing left seated on a mound.'    It has lined edges.
