DC 12v 12 Volt Relay Wireless RF Remote Control Switch Transmitter + Receiver

Can switch on/off up to 10 amps, 120 watts.

Receiver measures: 1-1/8" x 1-1/8" x 2-1/8" (28mm x 28mm x 53mm)

Important Note:  This unit does not come with instructions.  Here are the instructions.  Please read these and do not buy if you cannot understand the instructions.  The transmitter does not come with a fresh battery.  It uses one A27, 12 volt battery.  You can supply your own or select the option with a New battery.  You may have to change the battery to assure function.  There are no returns!

Installation:

The receiver/switch has two sets of two wires and also one antenna wire.   The wires are (+) RED and (-) Ground.  The red and black wire near the antenna are labeled (OUT).   The (OUT) wires must connect to the device that you want to switch on and off.  The two wires (black and red) at the opposite end of the receiver must connect to the 12v power source (+) Red and (-) Ground.

If you connect the wires backwards, it is not going to work.  If you reverse the (+) and (-) wires, it is not going to work.  If you do not have a good solid electrical connection at any of the wires, it is not going to work.  So, if it does not work, check these things to find and fix your mistake.

Operation:

The unit consists of one remote control transmitter and one receiver switch.  The signal from the transmitter is received by the receiver switch and that causes the switch to switch power on and off to the wires marked OUT (Wires at the antenna end).

There are two buttons on the transmitter.  One button has an icon showing a closed lock on it.  This is the OFF button.  The other button has an icon showing an open lock on it.  This is the ON button.  To operate the device, you must press an hold the buttons down for 2 seconds...like this...PRESS..COUNT...ONE THOUSAND ONE, ONE THOUSAND TWO...THEN RELEASE.  If you press the buttons too quickly, the signal will not transmit and it will not work. So, if it does not work, read and follow these instructions on how to operate a transmitter and correct your mistake.

This device is (-) ground switching, which means it will only shut a device off if the device is ground isolated thru the ground wire only.  You can test this by disconnecting the (-) ground wire to your device and see if it shuts off.  If you device stays on when the (-) ground wire is "open" then this remote switch will not work with that device.

The battery that comes with this transmitter may be weak/dead.  To assure operation, either replace the battery yourself or buy the option that comes with a fresh new battery (transmitter uses one A27 12 volt battery).
