Due to the increased length of these springs you may need to adjust your Z axis end stop on certain Ender 3 printer versions. The premium replacement lead screw coupler improves the performance and reliability of your Ender 3D printers Z axis. The stock spring couplers fitted to the Ender are of low quality and a cause of many Z axis related printing issues, they can be easily accidentally stretched in use which then causes print quality issues. This is one of the most sophisticated types of Z axis coupling used in 3D printing, it's purpose is to counteract misalignment or vibrational force while still transferring torque. The improved PTFE Bowden tube supplied is ready for fitting to your printer with no cutting required both ends are perfectly cut. Our Capricorn clone tube has the improved internal diameter of 1.9mm this smaller diameter allows for much less filament ‘slop’ in the Bowden tube, in turn this means you can reduce filament retraction rates. This improved Bowden tubing supports a maximum temperature of 300°C. Two high quality NEMA 17 stepper dampers are included one for mounting on the X stepper motor and another for the Y stepper motor. Installing these gives a drastic noise level reduction from your 3D printer. Please note some Ender 3 models have push fit pulley wheels, it is easy to check which version you have, if your pulley is not secured to the motor shaft with grub screws you have the push fit version, sadly the dampers can not easily be installed with push fit pulley wheels. The heatsinks are used to cool the stepper motors and prevent overheating and missed steps, many 3D printers rely on the metal frame to act as a heat sink for the stepper motors, when fitting stepper dampers this disconnects the motors from direct contact with the metal frame of the printer, as such during long prints the motors can get very warm these heatsinks allow for your steppers to run cooler and within tolerance. Another benefit is if you print any high temp plastics such as ABS inside an enclosure this easily allows you to convert to active cooling by adding fans to the heatsinks. Key Features:
