Summary: The first drawing, showing a rabbit gazing at Sally Migrundy, an old lady in a long white dress and white cap, is an illustration for the story; Sally Migrundy, about a good fairy who took in orphaned children. The second, showing gaily dressed elves dancing, is for the story: Tim Tim Tamytam, about an elf and his wife who are helped by other elves to find a new home after their old home is destroyed. Johnny Gruelle was best known as the creator of the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy stories.
