New replacement door vent window frame hinge (pivot) shouldered rivets with installation punch tool - this is enough for two vent windows. These are for the glass frame at the pivot hinge, not the rivets that hold the frames together. Only two rivets are required but we provide four "just in case" one gets lost or mis-struck during installation. Check our eBay store for just the rivets.
IMPORTANT - the vent window pivot rivet is notoriously difficult to replace. We recommend instead grinding off the two top rivets that hold the small pivot brackets to the vent frame, not this rivet. Those are a more common style rivet and the repair is hidden. You can also tack weld the bracket back on and bypass the rivets altogether. If you are going forward with removing this pivot rivet, we recommend carefully grinding (Dremel tool) it off (not drilling) from the bottom. A second set of hands is invaluable during reassembly.
IMPORTANT #2 - we have removed two different style pivot rivets from Nova vent window frames over the years. One has a rounded shoulder edge, one does not. Why there was a difference we do not know. The rounded shoulder edge rivet appears to fit better. The ones for sale here DO NOT have the rounded shoulder edge. We are currently trying to find a source for those as well.
CONDITION: New replacement style. I would not call these an exact reproduction. The shoulder tends to be a bit longer (taller) than original GM ones. Only rivets on the market we are aware of at this time.
